De Esser Garageband Ipad
The deesser on GarageBand is horrid. Are there any free or cheap plugins that actually work? Is there any methods you use to deess that isn’t a plug-in? I know the best way to limit sibilance is with how you record but I can’t seem to with what I have. Jul 06, 2017 I find that I have a moderate ess in my voice. Is it possible to run some sort of pre-processor plugin with macOS to de-ess and compress my voice between the microphone and the recording in Keynote? Alternatively, I could export the video, extract that audio and copy it into GarageBand and process it there before playing it back into Keynote. I'm in search of a free de-esser plugin for my Mac running High Sierra and Cubase AI 9.5. I've tried installing the de-essers I know of (Lisp, Spitfish, MDA De-Esser), but all are 32-bit according to Cubase's VST manager.

Mar 09, 2012 I was quite surprised with the presence of my vocal. Then I tried move the iPad around I put up a pop filter in front and found the right distance to it. To me this simply kicks ass (pardon) after a session I eq the high ends because there’s a lot of high end. Or I use de esser and then compression and voila. I'm doing some vocal recording (mono - spoken word) and I'm looking for a de-esser plugin for GarageBand. I've tried ducking the offending frequency in the graphic EQ and achieved some success, but it has a tendency to leave the overall quality of the recording kinda' flat and hollow sounding (burying the 4K frequency).
Read some forums and everyone RAVES about Spitfish, but the developers stopped updating it and my version of GB won't recognize it.
Could anyone more knowledgeable than this ol' dog seeking to learn some new tricks offer any advice?
