Jan 07, 2017  Hi, I'd like to know what's the best audio interface for recording guitar in GarageBand? I have seen people mention the Jam by Apogee or the iRig, however the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 looks like a good bit of kit too. I would really appreciate some advice on this. You can read more about the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 at this link here. The iRig HD 2, on the other hand, is only meant for playing the guitar, so if that’s all you’re looking for – just a simple audio interface for playing the guitar – then the HD 2 is a great choice, especially considering its relatively cheap price.

Mixmeister studio 7 crack torrent. And don't forget Presonus. I think the best one is the one that fits your budget and needs. If you're only recording 1 guitar track at a time, you don't need a Thunderbolt interface, which will be more expensive. USB will be fine. Be aware that Mac's have USB 3, so USB 2, with slower speeds, might give you data under-runs. Easily fixed with a hub, which is also a convenient thing to have around.

I bought a Rode mic and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and installed it to my mac and it worked fine on garageband for like 20 minutes until I plugged in my headphones into my com then it stopped working. I can't figure out the problem, everything is installed, the computers input is correctly on the scarlett as well as garageband. Please launch GarageBand, create new project, select voice, and click choose. Please name project, click create, mouse click garage band (next to apple logo), and navigate to preferences. Once in the preferences menu, click the audio/midi tab option, set audio output and audio input to Scarlett 2i2 USB. Make sure real instrument tab is selected, make sure the browse tab is selected, set your input source to mono 1 (Scarlett 2i2 USB). Make sure your sound source (guitar, mic, or keyboard) is plugged in to input 1 of your Scarlett 2i2. Turn up the input gain on your 2i2 to a desirable level (make sure halos are not in the red). 1-16 of 260 results for 'garageband interface' Skip to main search results Amazon Prime. If you're planning to record more tracks simultaneously in the future, you should definitely consider Thunderbolt. But then you're going to want more inputs, too. If your needs are likely to remain small, go with a cheaper alternative. I think they're all pretty good. I don't know about the iRig, but people love Apogee and Focusrite and Presonus.
